Abstract:
Applications involving copyrights and video indexing make use of video copy detection systems. The fingerprint extraction method analyzes the video's content to identify its distinctive qualities. Using the Structural Similarity Measure (SSIM), the video's important frames are retrieved. A specifically created picture called a Temporally Informative representative picture (TIRI) may be used to retrieve the fingerprint.
