Abstract:
The healthcare industry has faced numerous risks connected to data storage and security throughout the years, such as data leaks, intrusion, and difficulties in compliance with regulations. Consequently, the solution of strong encryption, which combines SHA-256 hashing and RSA encryption, has been demanded to guarantee both data integrity and confidentiality. Typical cloud storage solutions have central control and can be exposed to the same security issues associated with unauthorized access and data breaches. These limitations necessitate a storage model that is more secure, decentralized, and efficient. In this paper, there is indeed a decentralized cloud storage solution that merges the technologies of SHA-256 hashing and RSA encryption for the good of data integrity, confidentiality, and access control.
