Abstract:
This project explores the integration of blockchain technology to enhance security in connected autonomous vehicles (CAVs). As the automotive industry increasingly adopts connectivity and automation, the vulnerabilities associated with data privacy, system integrity, and communication networks have become critical concerns. This research presents a framework that leverages blockchain's decentralized and immutable nature to secure data transactions among vehicles, infrastructure, and users. By implementing smart contracts, we aim to facilitate secure, transparent interactions, thereby mitigating risks related to hacking, data tampering, and unauthorized access. The project also investigates the scalability and interoperability of blockchain solutions in real-world scenarios, considering factors such as latency and computational efficiency. Through simulation and case studies, we demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed model in enhancing the overall security posture
